Co-Founder and Managing Director
Mike DiNorscia began his career in New Jersey as a sales trainee for Hormel Foods on September 10th, 2001. Within three months of employment and upon completion of his assignment in New Jersey, Mike was promoted to a Food Service Territory Manager's position in Manchester, Connecticut. As a Territory Manager for Hormel, Mike was responsible for food service distributor sales throughout the greater New England region.
In July of 2006, Mike was promoted to an Account Executive position and relocated to San Diego, California. While employed with Hormel in San Diego, Mike won the Chairman's Inner Circle Award, as one of the nation's top foodservice sales representatives.
After spending two years with Hormel Foods in San Diego, Mike decided to make a change. In 2008, Mike co-founded Location Matters with his partner Michael Spilky. Location Matters is a Retail Commercial Real Estate Brokerage, which provides leasing and investment sales services to retail property owners and tenants. The company has a specialized leasing and development team which focuses on Restaurant Real Estate transactions. Since its inception, Location Matters has completed nearly $25 million dollars in Real Estate transactions.
In 2009, Mike co-founded and became President of Restaurant Capital Growth Inc., a capital company focused on investments in emerging restaurant brands. Restaurant Capital Growth's current holdings include Burger Lounge Little Italy, LLC, the flagship store for a 5 unit restaurant chain based in San Diego.
In his spare time, Mike serves as a director on the alumni board of Theta Chi Beta Omega and as treasurer of the Lomas Santa Fe Homeowners Association. He enjoys exercising, watching sports and spending time with his family. Mike is a graduate of Susquehanna University with a BA in Business Administration and a dual major in Marketing and Finance.
